Obituary:

Ercle Kinder went to be with his heavenly Father on Wednesday, June 4, 2014. He was born on September 25, 1924 in Marble Hill, MO; to John William and Mae Filer Kinder. On June 27, 1948 he was united in marriage to Margie Hawn at Bro. John Long’s house in Patton, MO.

Ercle had worked for the International Shoe factory as a cutter and retired from Superior Electric Company, and was a long time member of the Marble Hill United Methodist Church.

He served his country proudly in the United States Navy during WWII.

He is survived by his wife Margie of Marble Hill; son Tim Kinder of Marble Hill; daughter Terra Douglas of Marble Hill; grandsons Darin (Kendra) Shell, Doug (Bridgett) Douglas; great-grandchildren Brett Douglas, Hannah Douglas, Brookelynn Shell; step-great-grandchild Crystal (Steve) Merrell; and step great-great-grandchildren Jerod Merrell and Cadence Merrell.

He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Brenda Kay Shell, brother Edward Kinder, sisters Ella Mae Kinder, Mary Jane Crader and grandson Michael L. Douglas.

Visitation will be Thursday, June 5, 2014 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

Funeral Services will be at 10 A.M. Friday at the funeral home with Lynn Crader and Rev. Michael Hargraves officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
