Obituary:
Gerald Burette Mabrey, 79, of Woodson Terrace, Mo., formerly of Marble Hill, died Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2002, at DePaul Health Center in Bridgeton, Mo.
He was born April 28, 1923, at Laflin, Mo., son of Henry Lee and Annie Louise Markham Mabrey. He and Pauline Trevathan were married July 9, 1964.
Mabrey was a pipefitter at McDonnell-Douglas several years. He was a member of Marvin Park United Methodist Church and Thoman Boothe American Legion Post 338 in Woodson Terrace. He served in the Merchant Marines during World War II.
Survivors include his wife; a son, Wade Mabrey of Little Rock, Ark.; three daughters, Wanda Partlow and Pamela Mabrey of Beebe, Ark., Shirley Jenkins of Sulphur Springs, Texas; a stepson, Steven Mullnix of Overland, Mo.; two stepdaughters, Gail Latta of Overland, Sharon Crews of Florissant, Mo.; three brothers, Clarence Mabrey of Overland, Harold Mabrey of Manchester, Mo., Donald Mabrey of Florissant; a sister, Avis Allmon of Whitewater; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter and two sisters.
Friends may call at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill after 11 a.m. today.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. today at the funeral home, with the Rev. James Corbin officiating. Burial will be in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery.
