Obituary:

Louella Reutzel age 81, of Jackson, MO; passed away on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at her home.

She was born April 20, 1933 in Lutesville, MO; daughter of Milford and Marie Stephens. She and Cletus Reutzel were united in marriage on December 25, 1953 in Lutesville, MO.

Cletus worked on Pipeline Construction for 30 years and Louella enjoyed traveling with him. Louella worked at Lowell’s in the jewelry department in Cape Girardeau. She also did volunteer work teaching Sunday school, Den mother for the boy Scouts and helping at the Jackson Senior Center. She enjoyed oil painting, sewing, gardening and working with flowers.

Loving survivors include: her husband of 60 years, Cletus Reutzel of Jackson, MO; sons Larry Reutzel of Norman, OK; Randy Reutzel of Marietta, GA; daughter Linda (Toodie) Watson of Jackson, MO; three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters, Wilma Stratton, Juanita (Frank) Whitesell, Shirley (Paul) Farrow, Mary Brown and brother, John Stephens.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother-n-laws Earl Stratton and Charley Brown.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 19, 2014 from 5 to 8 PM at Connection Point Church in Jackson, MO. Then again on Monday from 10 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM.

Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 AM at the Church with the Rev. Chris Vaught officiating. Burial will follow in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill, MO.
