Obituary:

Shelton E. Fulton, age 89, of Jackson, MO; passed away Thursday, December 20, 2012 at the Monticello House in Jackson.

He was born September 9, 1923 at Kennett, MO; son of Elisha E. and Emma Ellen Mayfield Fulton. He and Virginia Davault were united in marriage on December 28, 1941.

He served his country proudly in the US Army, worked as a Produce manager for Safeway Food Inc., and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Jackson.

Survivors include: his wife, Virginia of Jackson; step brother Charles Fulbright of Marble Hill; grand-daughters Erin Leigh (Stewart) Wagner of Garden City, KS; Jenna Gayle (Pobzeb) Armerding of Colorado Springs, CO; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Sandra Sue Davis, three brothers and one sister.

Visitation will be Saturday, December 22, 2012 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 10:00 AM at the funeral home with Pastor Tommy Weems officiating.

Burial will follow in the Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
